Hydropool hot tub error messages
Hot tubs have handy little topside controls, that usually indicate a fault using a code. This helps you identify the fault and fix it yourself. Or relay the information to a trained professional for a faster diagnosis and repair.
The following error messages may show on your hydropool hot tub.
|Error Message||Probable Cause||Recommended Action|
|Hr||An internal hardware error has been detected.||Contact your supplier. Or a local hot tub technician.|
|Prr||Indicates a problem with the regulation probe. The system is constantly verifying if the temperature probe reading is within normal limits.||Contact your supplier. Or a local hot tub technician.|
|HL||"Overheat" - The water temperature at the heater has reached 48 degrees C.||DO NOT ENTER THE WATER. |
Remove the spa cover and allow water to cool. Once the heater has cooled, reset by pushing any button. If the hot tub does not reset, shut off power to the spa and call your supplier for a service.
|OH||"Overheat" - The water temperature in the spa has reached 42 degrees C.||DO NOT ENTER THE WATER. |
Remove the spa cover and allow water to cool. At 41.7 the spa should automatically reset. If spa does not reset, shut off power to the spa and call your supplier for a service.
|FLO||The system does not detect any water flow while the filtration pump was running.||If the water level is normal, make sure all pumps are primed. |
If problem persists, contact your supplier for a service.

If possible, remove the spa cabinet on the control board side.
If problem persists contact your supplier or a local hot tub technician.
Follow the instructions given. Or let your hot tub technician know that this is showing on the top side if you need to call for help. This will help them identify the problem. And hopefully, reduce the time on site, and increase the chances that the problem is fixed on the first visit.
