How do you know which hot tub is best for you?

World’s Best Built Spas ©. It’s the tagline of Coast Spas Hot Tubs. But should you believe it? Surely every hot tub manufacturer is claiming to have the best built hot tubs.

How do you pick the one that is best for you?

If you’ve decided to opt for a good quality hot tub, then you’ve probably made the decision to go for one that is manufactured in North America. You’ll be looking at Hot Spring, Jacuzzi, Artesian and Coast Spas.

For almost 18 years, we opted to sell Coast Spas hot tubs. So, of course, it’s not a surprise to hear that we think they are one of the best hot tub manufacturers in the world.

Coast Spas have spent the last 20 years, driving innovation in design and manufacturing. They focus on creating hot tubs that truly are the world’s best built. Here are a few of the reasons we think they are deserving of that title. You can decide for yourself whether that makes Coast Spas the right hot tub for you.

Why should you buy a Coast Spa hot tub?

1. Strong acrylic shells

Your shell is one of the most expensive components of your Hot Tub. If the shell breaks, it’s the one part you cannot replace.

Most hot tubs shells are made from the same acrylic sheets. But, it’s what happens to the acrylic during the manufacturing process that makes or breaks its strength. Some acrylic sheets are stretched so thinly, they are little more heat or chemical resistant than a standard bathtub.

What makes Coast Spa shells the best?

Coast Spas is the first and only hot tub manufacturer to use Owens Corning © Fibreglass Reinforced Shells. The acrylic sheet is backed by up to 12 layers of sprayed fibreglass to form the strongest hot tub shell available.

2. The cleanest hot tub filtration system

Traditional hot tubs use a filtration system called skim filtration. The filters sit in contact with the hot tub water, behind the big skimmer grill. As the filters sit in the same water as you, the dirt is free to flow back into the water. Yuk!

The Coast Spas germaphobe CEO didn’t like this idea of sitting in dirty water. So in response, Coast Spas developed the Hydro Cyclonic Filtration system®The filters sit in a pressurised container, out with the spa water. The hot tub water is drawn in through the skimmer and inlets, pushed through the filter to capture dirt, before finally making its way back into the hot tub. Once the dirt is caught in the filters, it can’t escape.

The Hydro Cyclonic Filtration system was proven by filter manufacturers, Pleatco, to be 83% faster and 20% more efficient than traditional skim filtration.

Coast Spas is so sure you’ll love their patented filtration system that they’ve made it a standard feature on all Coast Spas.

3. Superior quality guaranteed

The Coast Spas brand was founded on quality, still to this day living by the mantra on which they were built:

Quality shall, in every case, take precedence over quantity.

Founded in Canada, Coast Spas are built to endure the harshest of climates. They are one of the only hot tubs with the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2008 certification. An independently audited stamp of quality.

To continually uphold this certification, Coast Spas have to follow stringent quality and endurance tests on each hot tub that is manufactured.
